My Personal Daily Prayer

Note: I suppose if you asked one million Christians, “What is your daily prayer?”, you would get one million different answers. This is mine:

“My Father, who art in heaven, holy is Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done for (here, I name all those for whom I am praying) on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts (debts is a better translation than ‘trespasses’ and is broader) as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. (the two parts of this particular petition need to be taken together. God tempts no one. James 1:13) For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. Matthew 6:9-13 “Lord’s Prayer”

“Restore our souls.” Psalm 23:3

“Give us wisdom, liberally and without reproach.” James 1:5

“Give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of our understanding may be enlightened, that we may know what is the hope of Your calling, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power towards us who believe, according to the working of Your mighty power.” Ephesians 1:17-19. Kenneth Hagin credits this particular prayer for the nine visions that he has had of Jesus. I have had over 15

“Count us worthy to escape all the evil things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:36

“Supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

Commission Angels: “I commission as many angels as necessary to guard over all those for whom I have prayed, mighty warrior guardian angels, that no harm can come to us or our families, property or endeavors.” Hebrews 1:14

Bind satan. (Any Christian who does not include this in his daily routine is extremely naïve): “Satan, I address you personally and directly right now, you, your kingdom, demons and unclean spirits. I take authority over you, I rebuke you, bind you and cast you down and away from all those whom I have named, our families, our property, our endeavors and our sphere of influence. Be gone now.” Too many scriptures to name, plus Job 1:10
